The River Plate has been the arrival point, and also the end point. My great-uncle Salomon, my grandfather’s brother, came by the river, at the beginning of the century. His image challenges the future, his posture expects everything.

FORBIDDEN TO REMAIN IN THIS PLACE

My brother and I travel together on the boat, on the brown waters. We stand in a forbidden place. The sign in the ship reads: “It is forbidden to remain in this place”.
